nice site....
Yes, I enjoyed going through all the
memories....my eyes kept going to one guy " RAY
TILLY" he might not be famous around here but
just go up abour 600 miles into the Pa Hills
along the Susky river vally to tracks as Port
Royal, Selinsgrove, Williams Grove, and others
Ray was THE MAN driving a alky burning injected
427 Ford, with a tube frame, and onto a super
sprint with all the same goodies.......A crash
at the race of Champions injured him badly,
after healing the will was still there but the
tools to work with had been deminished.
May God bless Ray and all of us others who
pushed it just a bit more than we should have.
they just don't make Bobby Ables anymore, or
bobby Hersh, Eddie Owings, Johnny Roberts, and
all the great guys I raced with from NY to VA
every weekend for 39 years GOD BLESS YOU
EVERYONE!
